Spirit was born to share the music and dances of swing culture with care, curiosity and joy. Since then, generations of people have arrived to learn a few steps and found a community.
Learn in order to dance
Classes build technique, musical listening, connection and improvisation so that what you learn comes alive on the dance floor. We do not want empty patterns: we want people who can dance, listen and enjoy the music together.
Beyond classes
Social dancing, live music, gatherings, festivals and cultural projects complete our understanding of swing as a living culture. Spirit is the meeting place from which we keep creating that movement.
